The Power Of Definite Goals

There is an amazing power behind the goal that is exact and kept alive by constant thinking about it. Our mind always works towards some goals, but if you don’t set definite goals yourself, then the mind thinks that your goal is that which you mostly pay attention to.
So let’s say you have no goals and you feel like you are stuck in unpleasant circumstances. You keep talking about how hard your life is and that nothing seems to change. By doing that you instruct your unconscious mind to work towards the achievement of more unpleasant circumstances.
Although you don’t see that, life always changes to reflect what you hold in your mind. However, if you hold the same thoughts in your mind, your life will seem to be the same all the time. Although some people and things will change, their nature will always remain very similar to the people you met in the past and the circumstances you had.
When you make up your mind to achieve some definite goal, your whole world will start to change. You will feel the momentum building and that will get you firstly confused and then excited. You will become much more productive and you will get countless new ideas to achieve your definite goal.
The more often you think about/visualise your goal, the quicker your life will change. When you think and visualise your goal every single day for at least 30 days, you cannot help but take action to achieve it – it seems as though the ideas use you rather than you use ideas that come in your mind. You just have to act because otherwise you would feel too guilty and disappointed in yourself.
It feels great to have a definite goal because you feel like you work towards some good purpose, you don’t think that you are wasting your life. So many people feel as though they are using only a tiny bit of their potential and they seem to stagnate even whilst consciously being aware of that. This happens only because they lack definite goals. Once these are in place, it is impossible to watch TV or do any other useless activity for more than 30 minutes without getting thoughts that you could be spending your time in a much more productive way.
When you have a definite goal, you become better at prioritising your daily activities. That’s exactly what recently happened to me. I have a large financial goal to achieve therefore I got plenty of ideas of how to manage my time better. Now I now longer check my emails daily, but only once a week, maximum twice a week. This helps me immensely because now I can focus on product development and more in-depth coaching help, and that already increased my profits significantly! Pretty exciting, I must say!
It is the strangest thing in the world: you set the goal and then you naturally start getting internal guidance of how to achieve it. For example, it is logical that if I limit my least productive tasks and spend more time on results-producing tasks, I will be financially better-off. But without a definite financial goal in mind, I did not come to think about it this way. However, as soon as I set a goal, I am increasingly becoming aware of what to do to achieve it. It really feels as though some invisible force is directing me.
I got many emails asking me about my new weight loss course. The thing is, weight loss in not a new subject for me. I’ve helped countless people to lose weight through my coaching program here in London. However I have never thought of actually talking about it on my website. But as soon as I set the goal, ideas started flowing in my mind encouraging me to do that. So I did, and now my weight loss course already gets plenty of new subscribers daily and I have no spaces left anymore to coach people.
Although I know the goal setting process very well, it still amazes me how it works exactly the same way all the time – you start getting ideas and clues of what to do no matter what goal you want to achieve.
So if you feel depressed, anxious or you just feel like you are not even near your true potential, here’s the tip… Set A Definite Goal! Soon enthusiasm and self-confidence will be your second-nature and you will be surprised how quickly your life will change! Your reality will soon start reflecting that which you want to eventually achieve, and the more you think about the goal, the quicker your life will start changing.
It could even happen that your life will start changing so fast that you will start doubting if you are ready to take such a huge leap. Don’t, I made this mistake before. If you quit, you will need to start from zero and build yourself up. Not smart. Keep going even when people and circumstances in your life start changing extremely fast. Your persistence and constant focus on your definite goal will bring you amazing results.
